Welcome to Writing Disney Magic, a place to celebrate the history, present, and future of all things Disney, Disney Parks, Pixar, Star Wars, Marvel, and so much more.

I’ve been writing for IGN.com since 2018 and have been covering Disney as my main beat since Disney’s 100th anniversary at Disneyland in 2023. Since then, I’ve been so honored and fortunate to be able to help tell stories of the people who make Disney Magic come to life.

I was invited to Walt Disney Imagineering to learn how they were bringing Walt Disney to life as an Audio-Animatronics figure, go to Papenburg, Germany, to learn how the Disney Destiny was built, tell the stories of Walt Disney and the start of the company alongside such films as The Lion King (My favorite!) and Cinderella, cover the biggest Disney Parks events like Disneyland’s Pixar Fest and Disney World’s Cool Kid Summer, review Tiana’s Bayou Adventure, got to D23 and Destination D23, and so much more.

I love being able to share the stories of these incredible people, and this will be a place for me to do that even more than I do on IGN.com and my podcast, Talking Disney Magic.

I’ll bring you along on my media trips, cover the biggest news, discuss the most interesting history, celebrate our love of Disney food, cook some awesome recipes together, and so much more.

I want this to be a welcoming and awesome space for us to come together and build a community of those wanting to celebrate our love of Disney together. Let’s do this thing together!
